Longstanding BSL teacher, Elizabeth McAughtry, from Lurgan, has won this year’s Belfast Telegraph Woman of the Year in Education. Elizabeth was nominated for the award by Pam Tilson, Communications Manager with Signature in Northern Ireland. http://www.signature.org.uk/news.php?news_id=62

The committee of the group that was formerly known as GADHOH Ireland had to make a very difficult decision. They had no option but to close down the group due to the recession.
