The Geemarc CL9000 looks like a traditional corded handset but it requires a 4G Nano SIM card for use (purchased from your local retailer) and works just like a Mobile Phone – it has no connection to a conventional house phone socket, all calls are made through your chosen mobile phone network. It is designed to be used wherever you are, whether it be your own home, an assisted living facility or care home. It is powered by a USB Type C power adaptor which should be plugged in at all times but there is a built in rechargeable battery which is there to safeguard you in the event of a power failure.
- Adjustable receiving volume of up to 40dB
- Power fail backup for 1+ day
- Hearing Aid Compatible – can be used with hearing aids equipped with a telecoil (T-coil)
- Amplification Function with boost button
- The CL9000 can also receive text messages as any other mobile phone would (please note the CL9000 requires you to have a Nano SIM card, they can usually be purchased at any major retailer)
- With 3 photo keys you can easily speed dial friends or relatives at the touch of a button
- SOS function with up to 5 emergency numbers stored
- Hands free function for ease of use in case of limited dexterity
The waterproof remote emergency SOS bracelet and the SOS key on the phone will trigger and then send a text and dial out to your chosen SOS numbers. Up to 5 numbers can be programmed and the CL9000 will dial the numbers one by one. To action an SOS alert you have to hold down the SOS button for 3 seconds.
CAUTION: this telephone is specifically designed for the people with hearing difficulties and is provided with a handset earpiece volume control for individual requirements.
