The Irish Deaf Golf Union have much reason to celebrate following an impressive victory at the 2013 Four Nations Tournament for Deaf Golfers in the Vale of Glamorgan.
The Irish team won the triple crown – beating Scotland on the first day by 3.5-0.5, England on the second day by 3-1, and clinching the title with a 4-0 win over Wales.
The achievement will ensure that the Irish Deaf Golf Union will have high expectations when they send a team to the World Deaf Golf Championship in Michigan next July.
This was the second running of the Four Nations Tournament for Deaf Golfers, the inaugural event being held in Castleknock Golf Club in 2011.
